There are a few things you will need to do in order to get started on the Zeb server.
Step 1: Purchase a copy of Everquest Titanium. It costs around $10 and you will need this to be able to play. Make sure you get the Titanium edition and not any other ones. Since Everquest Titanium is an older box set (there are newer ones such as Platinum) it can be hard to find in stores. Below is a link to purchase Everquest Titanium from Amazon.com.

Step 2: Install the game but do not run it. Running the game will initiate the patcher which will cause you to be unable to play on the Everquest Emulator servers. If you do accidentally run the patcher uninstall the game, delete the left over folders, and reinstall.
Step 3: Change the EQHost file. This allows you to connect to the Everquest Emulator login server. Open eqhost.txt in your Everquest directory (default is C:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest\eqhost.txt). Edit the file to this:
[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5998
Save the file and close it.
Step 4: Create a shortcut. The easiest way is to go to your Everquest folder again find eqgame.exe (C:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest\eqgame.exe). Right click and go over ‘Send To’ and then choose ‘Desktop (create shortcut)’. Find the shortcut on your desktop, right click and choose Properties. Place the word patchme at the end of the Target box. It should look like this:
“C:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest\eqgame.exe” patchme
Click OK. This purpose of this step is to bypass the patcher and launch the game directly. You will have to use this shortcut any time you want to play, feel free to put it where ever you want, it doesn’t have to stay on your desktop.
Step 5: Now you need to have a login server account. This account is separate from the Zeb Server and will allow you access to every Everquest Emulator server online. This step you will do through the official Everquest Emulator website.

Step 6: Launch the game from your shortcut, type in the Login Server Account information that you set up in Step 5. You will see a list of all the available EQEmulator servers. Look for the Zeb Server and log in! See you in the game!
